(Grand Forks County, ND) -- Grand Forks police say 13 out of 19 local businesses passed their alcohol compliance checks on Tuesday.

The department conducts compliance checks several times per year to make sure businesses aren't serving alcohol to minors. They did things a little differently this time by publicly releasing a list of businesses that passed, rather than the ones that failed. The goal is to provide more positive reinforcement and motivate businesses to make the list.

Of all the businesses checked, 68% passed. Those include the following establishments; Rhombus Pizza, Charlies, Kaizen, Sledsters, Brick and Barley, Bonzers, Broken Drum, Rock Bottle Shop, Hilton Garden Inn, Buffalo Wild Wings, Ground Round, Charros and Tequila, and Southtown Pour House.
