(Bismarck, ND) — Time is running out for the person who owns an unclaimed $40,000 lottery ticket in North Dakota.
The ticket expires on June 9th, and no one has come forward to claim the prize. The winning numbers were 8, 23, 44, 45, 53, with a 3 Mega Ball and was purchased at Pinnacle Express in Stanley, 301 12th Ave SE.
“This is a large prize to still be unclaimed” said Lance Gaebe, director of the North Dakota Lottery. “We are doing everything we can to alert the public and locate the winner. We encourage players to promptly check their tickets and claim their prize if they have this, or any, winning ticket.”
Lottery officials are urging players to check their tickets to see if they happen to have the winning numbers.
