(Bismarck, ND)  --  North Dakota is heading into the last two weeks of May with nearly the entire state out of drought conditions.

The U.S. Drought Monitor released yesterday show only eight-percent of the state in moderate drought conditions.

Those handful of counties affected are in far northeastern and far southwestern North Dakota.

Counties in the western part of the state and a few in the northeast are still experiencing abnormally dry conditions.
