(Grand Forks, ND) — Multiple members of law enforcement across the state spoke to U.S. House members under oath today to talk about illegal immigration across the Canadian border into North Dakota today.
Speakers at the event included North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley, Cass County Sheriff Jesse Jahner, Executive Director of the Walhalla Chamber of Commerce Rebecca Davis, and Renville County Sheriff Rodger Hutchinson. Each speaker entered written testimony into the record for lawmakers to consider, which held a wide range of topics. This includes descriptions of an “open border” policy, impacts of fentanyl and other illegal drugs in North Dakota, safety concerns regarding illegal immigration, and more.
