BEACH, ND — Beach, North Dakota residents are cleaning up a mess after a damaging hailstorm hit the town Wednesday night.
Hailstones up to two inches in diameter pummeled the town for about 20 minutes, leaving broken windows, shredded siding, and dented cars. One resident said the hail hitting their house sounded like “someone shooting a machine gun”.
No injuries were reported.
