(Fargo, ND) — North Dakota republican congressional candidate Rick Becker says his approach to governing is what the country needs right now.
“People, they talk about, he won’t compromise, he’s like a bull in a china shop, and he’s too much of a fighter, but I think people in North Dakota realize that’s what we need, because someone who has tried to play ball, go along to get along, the status quo, that’s how we got to this situation that we are currently in,” said Becker.
Becker says he has always worked to hold both democrats and republicans accountable.
He also says he is willing to shut down the federal government in order to get concessions from democrats.
He made the comments while appearing on The Flag’s Steve Hallstrom Show.
