LUDDEN, ND — A motorcyclist is hospitalized with serious injuries after he hit a deer yesterday afternoon while riding along Highway 1 near Ludden.
Troopers say the 61-year-old biker was traveling northbound when a deer attempted to cross the highway and collided with the vehicle shortly after 2:30 p.m. The impact threw the victim onto the pavement. Troopers say he was initially rushed to the Oakes Hospital before being transferred to Fargo’s Sanford Hospital.
No other injuries were reported.
