(Williston, ND) – There is a new Miss North Dakota.
Crowned Saturday night in Williston, Hope native, and Miss West Fargo, Sophia Richards, was named the newest Miss North Dakota, succeeding Bismarck native Sydney Helgeson.
Richards’ community service initiative was BIO Girls, a Fargo-based 501c3 “on a mission to improve the self-esteem in adolescent girls through empowerment of self and service to others.”
She is a 2023 graduate of NDSU.
