Bomb threats sent to UnitedHealthcare CEO’s home the day he was shot

MAPLE GROVE, Minn. – The murder of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson has generated several threats against his family in Minnesota.

Maple Grove’s city attorney received an email saying a pipe bomb had been planted at Thompson’s house.

Another emailed threat also said there was a bomb at the home of Thompson’s estranged wife who also lives in Maple Grove.

No explosives were found at either home and both threats have been declared hoaxes.

Law enforcement is trying to determine the source of the threats.
