FARGO, ND – Fargo-based RDO Equipment is announcing a workforce reduction.
“This difficult decision was driven by the need to align staffing levels with current market conditions and to ensure the long-term health and competitiveness of the business,” RDO Equipment said in a statement obtained by Flag Family News on Wednesday morning.
The workforce reduction, which represents two percent of the company’s 3,500 employees, impacted a total of 17 team members across eight RDO stores in the Red River Valley.
“Given the current economic conditions in the agriculture industry, we needed to adjust our business accordingly,” said Chris Cooper, President of RDO Equipment Co. “The decision to let team members go is always incredibly challenging, but these are necessary measures we needed to take to ensure the long-term success of the business.”
