Homeland Security sends Minneapolis & St. Paul officials letters to comply with immigration law

WASHINGTON – The Twin Cities are among the sanctuary cities the Trump Administration is putting on notice about their immigration policies.

The Department of Homeland Security sent a letter to St. Paul and Minneapolis stating they are non-compliant with federal law by not working with federal law enforcement on deporting undocumented immigrants.

The notice also demands the cities revise their policies to adhere to federal rules.
