Lisbon man dies after scooter strikes semi at highway intersection

LISBON, ND — A man is dead following a Semi vs. scooter crash in Lisbon this morning.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the crash happened at 10:25 a.m. Tuesday morning at the intersection of Jackson Avenue and Highway 32 in Lisbon. A Semi Truck, driven by an unidentified 63-year-old Bismarck man was attempting to turn onto Jackson, when a scooter, driven by a 66-year-old Lisbon male, attempted to pass the semi and struck the vehicle.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. Charges against the Bismarck man are under investigation.
