Man dies in motorcycle crash near Perham, Minnesota

OTTER TAIL COUNTY, Minn. – A man is dead after authorities say he drove a motorcycle into a pickup west of Perham.

Otter Tail County deputies responded to County Highway 125 and Fort Thunder Road around 2:30 PM on Monday, Sept. 29.

Authorities say a motorcycle driven by a 65-year-old Detroit Lakes man was headed west on Fort Thunder Road, didn’t stop at a stop sign and drove into a pickup driven by a 33-year-old Pelican Rapids man on County Hwy. 125.

The Sheriff’s Office says lifesaving measures were given to the motorcycle driver by a 911 caller and first responders, but the man died at the scene.

The pickup driver wasn’t hurt.

The State Patrol is helping with the investigation.
