Minnesota State Trooper indicted on federal child porn charges

MINNEAPOLIS – A Minnesota State Patrol trooper has been charged in a four-count indictment in federal court in Minneapolis.

Acting U.S. Attorney Lisa Kirkpatrick says Trooper Jeremy Francis Plonski has been charged for the production and distribution of child pornography. He was previously charged in federal court with one count of producing child pornography and was ordered detained pending trial.

If convicted, he faces a minimum of 15 years, and a maximum of life, in prison.
