ST PAUL, MN – Opening day attendance was down slightly this year at the Minnesota State Fair.
Dubbed the Great Minnesota Get-Together, officials say 137,148 people attended the first day of the fair. That’s more than 1,000 less than last year’s record-breaking opening day, which saw 138,875 people attend.
Last year’s fair brought 1,925,904 people to the event. The fair runs through Labor Day.
