Trump to send border czar Tom Homan to Minnesota

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump says border czar Tom Homan is headed to Minnesota amid continued ICE operations in the metro area.

“He has not been involved in that area, but knows and likes many of the people there,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “Tom is tough but fair, and will report directly to me.”

Press Secretary Karolinee Leavitt also confirmed Homan’s trip to Minnesota, saying the border czar ‘will be managing ICE Operations on the ground in Minnesota to continue arresting the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens.’

“In addition, Tom will coordinate with those leading investigations into the massive, widespread fraud that has resulted in billions of taxpayer dollars being stolen from law-abiding citizens in Minnesota,” she posted on X.

It’s unknown when Homan will arrive or how long he’ll be in the state.
