U.S. Attorney for MN to step down

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Attorney for Minnesota says he will be stepping down ahead of the inauguration of President Donald Trump.

Andrew Luger says he plans to leave so the Trump Administration can bring in its own team to lead the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Luger has served two terms as Minnesota’s U.S. Attorney, first under President Barack Obama and again under President Joe Biden.

The 65-year-old does not plan to retire saying he will remain active in law as well as causes he believes in.
