Walz adjusts return-to-work policy

(ST PAUL, MINN)  —  The Walz administration is making adjustments to its return-to-office policy for state employees.

The new measure says those living 50 miles away from work will be exempt from coming to the office.  The previous rule was for more than 75 miles away.  Governor Walz announced in March that the state workforce will have to start reporting to the office at least 50 percent of the work schedule starting June 1st.

Some groups are opposing the change.
