This week Kevin Pifer, America’s Land Auctioneer, is joined by fourth-generation farmer and cattleman Blake Jacobsen from Laverne, North Dakota in Barnes County.  The late March and early April blizzards have created incredible challenges for ranchers in the region.  Kevin spent a day on the Jacobson farm this past week as the Jacobson family heads into the home stretch of spring calving. Pat Traynor, Pifer’s Farmland Manager, also joins America’s Land Auctioneer and updates listeners on cash rents in the region and the prospects of a late spring for farmers. Jim Sabe, Pifer’s Regional Equipment Manager, provides updates on spring equipment auctions and values.
