The 2021-22 ended only a couple of weeks ago and the Fighting Hawks are already looking towards next season. On Wednesday the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) released the 2022-23 conference slate. All eight NCHC teams will play in a 24-game conference schedule.
The chase for the Penrose Cup will begin on Friday, Oct. 28, 2022 and will conclude on Saturday, March 4, 2023. The NCHC quarterfinals series will take place on the weekend of March 10-12. The Frozen Faceoff will follow on March 17-18 at the Xcel Energy Center.
The three-time defending Penrose champion Fighting Hawks will begin their title defense on Friday, Oct. 28 at Omaha. All home games will start at 7:07 p.m. on Friday and 6:07 p.m. on Saturday unless otherwise noted.
