The RedHawks Have Added Former Big League Outfielder Rymer Liriano

     On Tuesday the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks announced the acquisition of former Major League Baseball outfielder Rymer Liriano.

     Liriano had two different stints in the MLB, first with the San Diego Padres in 2014 and the Chicago White Sox in 2017. He played in a total of 59 games in the majors.

     The 30-year-old had played in 14 seasons of professional baseball, appearing in 1,440 career games. He has a career .262 batting average, .345 on-base percentage, and .419 slugging percentage with 437 extra-base hits and 246 stolen bases.

     Liriano was previously with the Staten Island FerryHawks of the Atlantic League this season, playing in 21 games.
