Leo Piña Has Been Named the American Association Batter of the Week in Back-to-Back Weeks!

     For the second straight week Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks infielder Leo Piña has been named the American Association Batter of the Week!

     This past week Piña was nearly unstoppable once again racking up a .560 batting average in seven games. Throughout the week he hit two home runs with six doubles and 14 total hits that included seven RBI and 10 runs scored.

     So far this season, Piña has played in 36 games and has tallied a .401 batting average. He has racked up 57 total hits including 13 doubles and six home runs in 142 at-bats. He also has 24 RBI and 34 runs scored in the campaign.

     Piña and the RedHawks will begin a three game series at the Winnipeg Goldeyes on Tuesday, June 28 with first pitch slated for 6:30 p.m.
