UND’s Jackson Blake Has Been Named The NCHC Rookie of the Week

     University of North Dakota freshman forward Jackson Blake has been named the NCHC Rookie of the Week for his performance against Miami (OH) this past weekend, the conference office announced.

     The Eden Prairie, Minn., native dominated the RedHawks with three goals and an assist in the weekend split. Blake recorded multiple points in both contests, increasing his season total of multi-point games to six.

     He tallied a pair of goals in UND’s 7-1 thrashing over Miami (OH) on Friday night. Blake scored a goal and picked up an assist in Saturday’s 4-3 loss.

     So far this season, Blake is tied for third in the NCAA and tied for the NCHC lead with seven goals. He is fifth in the country with 15 total points and second in the NCHC for freshmen.

     The UND Fighting Hawks will have a home-and-home weekend series against Bemidji State beginning on Friday, Nov. 25 in Bemidji at 7:37 p.m.
