North Dakota State senior guard Heaven Hamling has been named the TicketSmarter Summit League Women’s Basketball Peak Performer of the Week the league office announced. This is the second time this season she’s earned the award.

Hamling has led the Bison (9-4, 3-0) to the program’s first 3-0 start in Summit League play since the 2014-15 season. She knocked down a career-high 14 of 15 free throw attempts, which is a tie for third-most in a single-game in program history. Hamling also dropped a game-high 28 points in a victory over North Dakota.

She became the first Bison since Marena Whittle in 2015-16 to earn multiple Summit League Player of the Week honors in the same season.

NDSU will visit South Dakota State on Thursday, Jan. 5 with tip set for 7 p.m.
