Fargo Force Goaltender Anton Castro has committed to playing college hockey at the University of Wisconsin. Castro announced his commitment to Badger Hockey on his social media accounts on Monday evening.
Castro has started 20 games for the Force this season posting a record of 11-8-0-1. Castro currently has a 2.37 GAA (goals against average) which is second in the USHL behind Force teammate Matej Marinov. Castro also ranks fifth in the USHL in save percentage, with a 0.912 SV% (save percentage) on the season. Overall in two seasons with the Fargo Force Castro has an overall record of 15-13-1-2 with a 2.67 GAA and a 0.903 SV %.
Castro and the Force return to the ice Friday night in Waterloo, IA to take on the Black Hawks with puck drop scheduled for 7:05 PM.
