Minnesota United blanked by Sporting Kansas City

(Kansas City, KS) — The Minnesota United lost for the fifth time in their last six MLS matches. The Loons fell to Sporting KC 3-nil at Children’s Mercy park on Saturday.

Minnesota gave up a pair of goals in the first 22 minutes of the match and was never able to rally back. The United are in ninth-place in the Western Conference with three wins, three draws, and five losses for 12 points.

Minnesota hosts Houston on Wednesday.
