Adrian Peterson still hasn't retired

One of the leading rushers in NFL history claims that he still isn't retired. Adrian Peterson said that "mentally", he hasn't "officially hung it up."

The 38-year-old running back has not played in the league since 2021, when he played a combined four games split between the Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks. The four-time All-Pro that also spent time with the Vikings, Cardinals, Lions, Saints and Washington and currently ranks fifth on the all-time rushing list with 14,918 yards.

Peterson said that if no team signs him this season, he will be "hanging it up."
