(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Twins could be without their superstar shortstop for the foreseeable future.

Rocco Baldelli told reporters yesterday that Carlos Correa is dealing with a foot injury and might wind up on the ten-day injured list. Correa has a strained muscle in the arch of his left foot and plantar fasciitis in his left heel. Baldelli added that the Twins should know by Friday whether or not Correa will need to miss extended time.

The 28-year-old is hitting .213 with six home runs and 24 RBI this season.
