(Omaha, NE) -- Four teams remain in the hunt for the 2023 Men's College World Series title. No. 5 LSU used a dominant performance on the mound to shutout SEC rival Tennessee 5-0 on Tuesday and advance to the semifinals. The Tigers will duel No. 1 Wake Forest on Wednesday for a spot in the championship series. They will need to defeat the Demon Deacons twice in order to advance.
In other action, TCU cruised over Oral Roberts 6-1 to move one step closer to the first national title in program history. The Horned Frogs will take on No. 2 Florida in the semifinals on Wednesday. The Big 12 tournament champions will need to beat the Gators two times to clinch a spot in the CWS championship.
