(Nashville, TN) -- NHL star Connor McDavid is taking home the third Hart Trophy of his career. The 26-year-old for the Edmonton Oilers claimed his third MVP award Monday after totaling 64 goals and 153 points this past season.

Erik Karlsson of the San Jose Sharks won the James Norris Memorial Trophy, which goes to the NHL's top defenseman, while Matty Beniers was named the recipient of the Calder, which goes to the game's top rookie. The Boston Bruins had an impressive showing after a historic season, with goaltender Linus Ullmark winning the Vezina, head coach Jim Montgomery taking the Jack Adams Award, and captain Patrice Bergeron claiming his sixth Selke Trophy.
