Wild wrap up 2023 NHL Draft

(Nashville, TN) -- The Minnesota Wild put the finishing touches on their 2023 NHL Draft class yesterday. Minnesota selected five players over the final six rounds of the draft.

The Wild picked two centers in the second round with Rasmus Kumpulainen at pick 53 and Riley Heidt at 64. In the fifth round, Minnesota picked up defenseman Aaron Pionk. The Wild rounded out the draft by taking blue-liner Kalem Parker in the sixth and left winger Jimmy Clark in the seventh.

The team now turns its attention to NHL free agency, which gets underway on Saturday.
