(St. Paul, MN) -- The Minnesota United snapped a five-match MLS winless streak with a 4-1 win over the Portland Timbers at Allianz Field on Saturday.

The Loons never trailed in the victory, and Emanuel Reynoso scored a pair of goals. Minnesota is in 11th place in the Western Conference with six wins, six draws, and seven losses for 24 points. The United host Austin this Saturday.

In other club news, Minnesota signed Nigerian midfielder Emmanuel Iwe to a one-year contract over the weekend.
