(Minneapolis, MN) — Joe Mauer is being immortalized at Target Field.
The Minnesota Twins inducted the 2009 MVP into their team Hall of Fame on Saturday. The St. Paul-native was the first-overall pick by Minnesota in the 2001 MLB Draft. He spent his entire career with the Twins, becoming the only American League catcher to win a batting title, which he did in 2006, 2008, and 2009.
