Sixth inning collapse dooms Twins

(Milwaukee, WI) — The Twins gave up five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning during a 7-3 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field.

The Twins led by one entering the frame, but they pulled starting pitcher Bailey Ober after throwing just 78 pitches, and Dylan Floro allowed five runs to get tagged with his sixth loss in relief. Christian Vazquez homered in the losing effort. The Twins have a five-game lead in the AL Central at 65-61.

Kenta Maeda starts for Minnesota against Milwaukee today.
