Twins fall to Guardians

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Twins weren’t able to do much damage against Cleveland’s bullpen during a 4-2 loss to the Guardians at Target Field.

Royce Lewis and Michael A. Taylor both hit solo homers, but Minnesota never got within a run after the third. Pablo Lopez was charged with his seventh loss after giving up three runs on eight hits in six innings.

The Twins still have a six-game lead over Cleveland at 69-64. Sonny Gray starts for Minnesota this afternoon.
