Twins fall to Rays

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Twins gave up 13 hits during a 7-4 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays at Target Field.

Minnesota trailed by just a run through four innings, but Tampa Bay scored three times in the fifth and twice more in the sixth. Max Kepler and Royce Lewis both homered in the losing effort, while Sonny Gray was charged with his seventh loss after giving up one earned run and one unearned run in four frames.

The Twins still lead the AL Central at 75-69. Joe Ryan starts for Minnesota against Tampa Bay tonight.
