Twins manger becomes father of twins

(Minneapolis, MN) -- Minnesota Twins manager Rocco Baldelli is on paternity leave this week.

The Minnesota Twins lost game three of a four-game set in Chicago 7-6 last Saturday. When the game ended Twins manager Rocco Baldelli flew back to Minneapolis to be with his wife who had twin boys early Monday morning. He doesn't have a timetable for when he will return to the team. Bench coach Jayce Tingler will run the team until Baldelli gets back, Tingler was the manager of the San Diego Padres from 2020 to 2021.

The Twins visit the Cincinnati Reds for a three-game set that begins tonight at 5:40 PM on Fox Sports 1.
