Gophers get crushed by Michigan

(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Minnesota Gophers were embarrassed in front of their home crowd during a 52-10 loss to No. 2 Michigan at Huntington Bank Stadium on Saturday.

Athan Kaliakmanis threw a pick-six on the second play from scrimmage, and Minnesota trailed for the rest of the game. The Gophers had just 169 yards of total offense and surrendered 432 yards. Kaliakmanis passed for just 52 yards, a touchdown, and two picks in the losing effort. Minnesota dropped to 3-3 overall and 1-2 in the Big Ten.

The Gophers have a bye this weekend before visiting Iowa on October 21st.
