NDSU MBB voted third in preseason Summit League poll, two Bison named preseason All-League

The North Dakota State men’s basketball team has been voted third in the preseason Summit League coaches poll.

Bison senior Boden Skunberg was tabbed to the preseason All-Summit League first team, with junior Andrew Morgan landing on the second team.

Skunberg led the team in minutes and was second in points per game averaging 15.4 in league play this past season. Additionally he was one of only three players to average at least 15 points and rank top-five in field goal percentage in Summit League play last season. Skunberg also averaged 5.4 rebounds and shot 41 percent from three-point range in conference play.

Morgan shot 59 percent from the field in the 2022-23 season, averaging 10.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.

Dating back to 2013 the Bison have played in nine of the 11 Summit League Tournament championship games. NDSU has played in the conference championship game each of the past five seasons.
