(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild pulled away late during a 7-4 win over the Connor McDavid-less Edmonton Oilers at the Xcel Energy Center.
The Wild scored five goals in the third period after entering the frame trailing by one. Ryan Hartman tied the game with a goal before Mats Zuccarello gave Minnesota the lead for good. Hartman had a hat trick and five points during the victory, while Marco Rossi, Joel Eriksson Ek, and Marcus Foligno also lit the lamp. The Wild snapped a two-game losing streak and are in third-place in the Central Division with seven points and a 3-2-1 record.
Minnesota visits Philadelphia Thursday night.
