(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Twins got a positive injury update on their first baseman.
The team announced that Alex Kirilloff had successful surgery on his labrum earlier this week. The operation was less invasive than previously thought because the surgeons discovered that the labrum wasn't torn. The club expects Kirilloff to be ready by Spring Training.
The 25-year-old hit .270 with 11 home runs and 41 RBI in 88 games this year.
