Wolves blow 19 point halftime lead, fall to Hawks by 14

(Atlanta, GA) -- The Timberwolves were embarrassed in the second half of their 127-113 loss to the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena.

Minnesota scored 79 points in the first half and led by 21 early in the third quarter, but the Wolves let the Hawks storm back. Minnesota was outscored 67-34 after halftime and trailed by as many as 19 points in the fourth. Anthony Edwards scored 31 points in the losing effort, while Karl-Anthony Towns had 16 points and ten boards.

The Wolves fell to 1-2. They host the Nuggets on Wednesday night.
