(Minneapolis, MN) -- A third Gophers running back has been given a Big Ten weekly award.
Jordan Nubin earned the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week award yesterday. Nubin ran for 204 yards and two touchdowns in Minnesota's 27-12 win over Michigan State on Saturday. Fellow running backs Darius Taylor and Zach Evans have also won conference awards this season, and Jordan's brother Tyler has been named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week twice with the Gophers this season.
Minnesota takes on Illinois this weekend.
