Edwards powers Wolves past Celtics

(Minneapolis, MN) -- The Timberwolves handed the Boston Celtics their first loss of the season with a 114-109 overtime victory at the Target Center.

Jaden McDaniels sent the game to an extra period when he knocked down a game-tying three with under two minutes left in regulation, and Anthony Edwards took over from there. Edwards scored eight of Minnesota's 13 points in OT to send the Wolves home with the win. He finished with 38 points in the victory. Minnesota is on a three-game winning streak and improved to 4-2.

The Wolves host New Orleans Wednesday night.
