Wild rally past Islanders

(Elmont, NY) -- The Wild scored two goals in the third period to beat the New York Islanders 4-2 at UBS Arena.

New York held a 2-1 lead in the second, but Vinni Lettieri tied the game with a goal before intermission. Kirill Kaprizov put Minnesota up early in the third, and Joel Eriksson Ek added an insurance goal less than a minute later. Pat Maroon also scored in the victory.

The Wild are in fourth place in the Central Division with 12 points and a 5-5-2 record. They visit the Rangers Thursday night.
