(Minneapolis, MN) -- Sonny Gray will be testing free agency.

The Twins ace declined Minnesota's $20.325 million qualifying offer yesterday. If he ends up signing elsewhere, the Twins will get draft pick compensation. Gray went 8-8 with a 2.79 ERA in 32 starts in 2023. He's one of three finalists for the American League Cy Young Award, which gets handed out tonight.

In other Twins news, the club added Emmanuel Rodriguez and Austin Martin to the 40-man roster yesterday.
