The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference is adding another member in the 2025-26 academic year.

The conference extended an invitation to the University of Jamestown to join the NSIC on Tuesday afternoon. The Jimmies are currently competing as an NAIA institution through the 2024-25 school year. If accepted as a D-II member, Jamestown would begin a three-year transition period making UJ an active NCAA member in 2027-28.

Last school year Upper Iowa left the conference and Jamestown is set to take its place and return the NSIC to 16 competing schools.

The conference sponsors 18 sports and the Jimmies currently have a team for all but one sport in women’s tennis.
