(St. Paul, MN) -- The Wild grinded out a 3-2 shootout win over the Calgary Flames at the Xcel Energy Center tonight.

Matt Boldy got the scoring started with a goal in the first five minutes of regulation. Calgary responded with Yegor Sharangovich's game-tying goal in the second, and the Flames took the lead when Blake Coleman lit the lamp at the beginning of the third. However, Marco Rossi tied the game less than a minute later to send the game to the extra period. After a scoreless overtime, Minnesota beat the Flames 2-1 in the shootout round. The Wild have won six of their last eight games.

Minnesota is still in seventh-place in the Central Division with 26 points and an 11-12-4 record.
