(Boston, MA) -- A hectic day of travel caught up to the Timberwolves during their 127-120 loss to the Boston Celtics at TD Garden.

Weather delayed Minnesota's flight from Orlando until yesterday morning, so Minnesota played its second game of a back-to-back just a few hours after touching down in Boston. The Wolves had a ten-point lead in the fourth quarter before the offense turned off. Boston stormed back to force OT and outscored Minnesota 16-9 in the extra frame. Anthony Edwards poured in 29 points during the losing effort, while Karl-Anthony Towns had 25.

The Wolves remain in first place in the Western Conference at 26-11. Minnesota hosts Portland on Friday evening.
