(San Antonio, TX) — The Timberwolves were embarrassed in the final quarter of their 113-112 loss to the San Antonio Spurs at Frost Bank Center on Saturday.
The Wolves were outscored 33-22 in the fourth, but they still had a chance to win when Karl-Anthony Towns missed a step-back three at the buzzer. Anthony Edwards had 32 points and 12 assists in the losing effort, while Towns and Rudy Gobert each had 19. Minnesota is tied for first place in the Western Conference at 32-14.
The Timberwolves visit the Thunder on Monday night at 7 p.m.
